Bergamo, August 1st, 2024 – SIAD Macchine Impianti, the company that heads the Engineering sector of the SIAD Group, has received a major recognition in the context of a key natural gas project in the Middle East, an ambitious initiative that will be completed by 2028, with the goal of operating with zero emissions, using advanced carbon capture and recovery technologies.

SIAD Macchine Impianti was chosen by MAIRE for the supply of two 2,700 MTPD Air Separation Units (ASUs), to produce oxygen and nitrogen, playing a fundamental role in the sulfur recovery process.

The collaboration between SIAD Macchine Impianti and MAIRE dates back to the 1960s and this appointment confirms SIAD Macchine Impianti as an esteemed supplier of large tonnage ASUs, offering its skills also for on-site supervision activities during assembly and commissioning phases of ASUs.

 

This project confirms SIAD Macchine Impianti's capability to manage complex and large-scale initiatives and further consolidates its presence in large tonnage Air Separation Units (ASUs) at international level.
