Nitrogen and Oxygen Liquefiers

SIAD offers a line of cryogenic liquefiers – both standard and custom designed - to convert high purity nitrogen and/or oxygen feed gas to sub-cooled liquid products. Our Nitrogen Liquefaction Units (NLUs) can be integrated with an existing gas plant to liquefy excess nitrogen or oxygen for peak shaving, backup or for merchant liquid sales. They can also be integrated with a merchant liquid plant to increase plant capacity or with a hydrogen electrolyzer to liquefy the oxygen stream for storage and transport. In addition to those indicated above the applications for liquefaction are similar as those for merchant liquid.

The NLU design is modular to minimize installation and commissioning time and cost. Plant modules include the process compressor(s), turboexpander module and cold box. All modules are furnished completely assembled and installation ready with those for our SL+A merchant liquid ASUs designed as drop-in units.
