Building upon SIAD Group’s extensive experience and capabilities in gas treatment and cryogenic liquefaction, SIAD has developed a line of small-scale SMART LNG plants to produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The plants are safe, efficient, reliable and easy to operate. SIAD offers three different technologies to provide the process refrigeration for liquefaction of LNG depending on flow rate and other customer requirements. These include

  • Direct heat exchange with a an externally supplied stream of liquid nitrogen
  • Direct compression – expansion – liquefaction of the natural gas stream
  • Direct heat exchange with an internally generated liquid nitrogen stream produced by a closed loop ADD nitrogen expansion process for refrigeratio

The most important features of Smart LNG involve four key aspects of SIAD’s engineering skills: namely, robust and consolidated cryogenic technology, a flexible liquefaction process, operational safety and maximum environmental sustainability.

The application of the LNG produced is envisaged for vehicle fueling stations, micro distribution networks (for heating or industrial combustion) and for energy storage.
