Standard Plants: Smart Liquid

To complement our custom designed series of merchant liquid production plants, SIAD also offers a line of standard air separation plants that produce liquid oxygen (LOX), liquid nitrogen (LIN), and liquid argon (LAR) in the production range of 80 to 170 mTPD (90 to 190 sTPD) of combined liquid production that share all the unique features of our AFP series of custom designed merchant plants.

Our Smart Liquid (SL) series ASU’s produce high purity liquid oxygen (LOX) and liquid nitrogen (LIN), and is available in multiple models including SL 90, SL 130 and SL 190.

Our Smart Liquid + Argon (SL+A) series ASUs also produce argon and are available in two models, the SL+A 100 and SL+A 150, with nominal capacities of 100 and 170 mTPD (110 and 190 sTPD), respectively, of total liquid production and capable of producing mas LOX, max LIN or any output combination in between. As liquid demand grows, a drop-in SIAD nitrogen liquefier units (NLU can be added with the SL+A 100) expanding up to 300 mTPD (3300 sTPD) and the SL+A 150 to 450 mTPD (450 sTPD).

Both plant models utilize SIAD’s unique modular design concept to provide the most cost-effective solution while simultaneously ensuring the highest possible level of quality. Each plant module is delivered completely assembled and ready for installation, minimizing installation and commissioning time and cost. Typical plant modules include the main air compressor, air chiller, air pre-purifier module, turboexpander module, and cold box.
